Handcrafted Soap Our soaps are handmade in small batches with all natural ingredients including coconut, palm kernel, olive, avocado, castor and wheat germ oils. This produces a hard bar with good lather which will not dry your skin. Glycerin is a humectant (i.e. attracts moisture) and homemade soap contains natural glycerin as a by-product of the soap making process. Commercially made soap often has the glycerin removed in order to sell it separately. We add botanicals, such as oatmeal and cornmeal, to some soaps for their softening or exfoliating properties. All colors are from natural sources. We use only pure essential oils, never synthetic fragrance oils. Bay Rum - The classic smell of bay rum aftershave in a soap. Deep Woods - The woodsy scents of fir, cedar, rosewood and rosemary meet the earthy smell of patchouli and the spiciness of nutmeg in this soap for the outdoors man or woman. Gardener's - A lemon scented soap made with lemongrass and cedarwood essential oils for their ability to repel insects and cornmeal for its scrubbing power. Lavender - Speckled with organically grown lavender buds and scented with lavender essential oil, noted for its calming, uplifting, and purifying effect on the body as well as its delightful aroma. Citrus Splash - Deodorizing bar with a refreshing citrus aroma; with shea butter and the essential oils of litsea cubeba, bergamot, lavender, cypress, and juniper. Oatmeal - Just plain mild soap with organic oatmeal for exfoliating and emoliency - great for your complexion. Patchouli - One of the best essential oils for skin problems from acne to aging skin, patchouli aids in cell regeneration. Lime Patchouli - All of the benefits of patchouli with the antiseptic and disinfectant addition of sweet smelling lime. Peppermint Sage - Peppermint and sage essential oils make a natural deodorant soap which is energizing and uplifting. Rose Petals - Lovely pink soap with the essential oils of palmarosa, rosewood, rose geranium, sandalwood, - and, of course, rose petals, for an old-fashioned rose fragrance. Rosemary Morning -A lovely green soap scented with rosemary, which is known for its stimulating and energizing effect, as well as lavender and basil essential oils. An herbal treat. Sweet Earth - Lavender, patchouli, and peru balsam essential oils combine to produce a sensual, earthy soap. Tea Tree with Lavender - Made with tea tree and lavender essential oils, two of nature's most potent antiseptics. Touch of Spice - The essential oils of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and peru balsam as well as ground spices for a sweet but spicy aroma in a beautiful brown bar. Shaving Soap Same great soap but in a 3 inch round bar to fit your shaving mug. These soaps have great lather to soften the beard as well as cinnamon essential oil to make the hair stand up and clove essential oil for its antiseptic properties.
